Bus services Bus No. 17 operates a weekday hourly service from Folkestone to Canterbury. The service is 2 hourly on Sundays. The bus can be flagged down at the end of Shuttlesfield Lane, (a 5 minute walk). The bus journey takes about 30 minutes in either direction.
Train The nearest train station is Sandling station which connects with London Charing Cross. A taxi would need to be ordered from the station to take you to Elham (see below). Otherwise Folkestone Central connects with London Charing Cross and bus No. 17 (see above) stops just around the corner from the station, this will take you directly to Elham. Canterbury East and West connect with London Victoria and London Charing Cross and bus No. 17 can be taken from Canterbury Bus Station directly to Elham. You can also take the High Speed (HS1) Service from London St Pancras to Ashford, Canterbury West or Folkestone.
